Talking Clicker Training

02/09/2012 By Karen Leave a Comment

Karen turns the tables this week and questions Jon all about his approach to clicker training.

As well as working as a digital marketing consultant over in Sweden, Jon is also a qualified clicker trainer. Jon shares his training tips and sets some homework for listeners of the show!

Also in this week’s podcast, Karen talks to Gabriella, from Collarways. Collarways are suppliers of the Leuchtie Light up collar which you can find at www.lightupcollar.co.uk – a brilliant idea for dogs, pops easily over their heads, waterproof and lots of different colours so that your dog is nice and safe in the winter darkness.

Collarways are behind this year’s Walk in the Dark, an event that runs between the 20th – 28th October which will be raising money for the Association of Lowland Search & Rescue Dog Teams. Organise a Walk in the Dark for your doggy friends or club, and walk safely together as the dark nights draw in. Remember that Lowland Search Dogs do an amazing job, and this is your chance to sponsor a local team by arranging or joining a walk in your area!

Even better, if you decide you want your dog to be seen in a Leuchtie light-up collar, Collarways will donate a £1 for each collar bought to the Walk In The Dark charity!
