We can complain about the odd illness here and there but imagine if you had an illness or a condition that could really be helped by a dog? Some dogs help save lives every day. Surely that is a charity worthy of our support?
It’s true – Medical Detection Dogs work as alert dogs for people who suffer from conditions that could seriously affect their health if it were not for their canine companions. Medical Alert dogs stay permanently with their juman counterparts and give warnings when blood chemistry changes. The charity also trains dogs to detect cancer! Saving lives with a sniff.
That’s why myself and our fab podcast sponsor Dougals Den Lynn Haigh decided we would do something to raise money for this brilliant charity. We have launched ‘SkinnyPaws’ www.skinnypaws.com where we are doing amazing challenges for the forthcoming weeks. Our target? My personal target is to fit into a wedding dress by the 8th May. Our charity target is to raise £2000 for Medical Detection Dogs.
We really hope you will help support us with a donation, or even do a SkinnyPaws challenge yourself! All to raise money for this amazing charity, and get fitter and, healthier and skinnier at the same time.
Let’s support dogs that make a difference to – and save – lives
Thank you x
