So many dogs, so many people, so much shopping – and only four days in which to see and do everything! Crufts has been and gone for 2011, and Karen was on the scent for the latest and greatest at this enormous doggy event.
Jon also talks about the fantastic breeder laws in Sweden and how these protect dogs – and owners – from making bad choices. What do you think about adopting those laws over here? Comments to firstname.lastname@example.org please!

Crufts special – best in show!
I was very privileged to speak to many groups and people at Crufts and will be covering some more of the interviews in future podcasts too. Here is the lineup!
- I talk first to Roly Boughton from Dorwest Herbs about the legendary ‘Scullcap and Valerian’ products that have been used by generations of owners and dogs. This year marks Dorwest Herbs 35th attendance at Crufts. Amazing! Dorwest are a family firm in the truest sense of the word.
- Also, my friend Debbie Connolly, fellow trainer, talks about her new book and swaps a few yarns and a few giggles along the way. We also compared fantastic t-shirts we had both specially worn to Crufts!
- I was also delighted to interview a group of Norwich schoolchildren from SOFA ‘Speaking out for Animals’ – with many thanks to Vet Marc Abraham for making the introductions.
